Liberally educated person meets new ideas with curiosity and fascination. Illiberally educated person meets new ideas with fear, James B. Stockdale
This is what came to my mind when I read about two boys in their pre-teen years, which has continued despite the MBA is too young. Finally someone has recognized the wisdom of age. I admire the parents of these children, who encouraged them to continue what they wanted and not force them what they wanted for their children or do. This is a true example of healthy parents and growing wisdom. Everyone needs to learn from them.
Yes, I believe that education should be free of all barriers of age, class, gender, etc., and they must be given to those who are genuinely interested in it. People who really want to be stupid about our so-called developing societies. Seeking knowledge is lost somewhere in our daily struggle for higher pay and better perks of living. We studied not make us smarter, but getting a huge amount of wages at the end of each month.
Our ancient wisdom has always put emphasis on knowledge acquisition and extends to the level of self-realization. The material was never the goal and if that made life more fulfilling and worth living. In the past life rotating purpose of existence and the way to get the education that the Enlightenment, but today, its sad to know that we will investigate to stand in line to secure our place in air-conditioned room with a large company that provides us enough money to buy everything you need to live in luxury. As Henry Ford said: if money is the hope we have the independence you will not need it. The only real security that a man has in this world is a book of knowledge, experience and ability.
Why do we need to consider when we want to work? Is everything in life, or is it something more than material gains? We all know the answer, but we follow league so long back, gave Darwin the famous principle of survival of the fittest. To be among the family, everyone wants to be the first race. If you study to know ourselves and others better, life is much easier to live like we live in now.
